Granny's Potato Cakes

Ingredients :

8 oz mashed Potatoes
1 oz Butter (melted)
2 oz Flour
Salt and Pepper

Method:

Mix everything together in a bowl.
Roll out on a floured board.
Shape into a circle about ¾ inch thick and cut into 8 triangles.
Fry in butter and / or vegetable oil until golden.

Notes :

  • This is what everyone’s Irish Granny did with yesterday’s leftover potatoes.
  • Fry with breakfast bacon for an early morning cholesterol fix.
