Yoghurt Scones

Ingredients :

8 oz Wholemeal Flour
3 tsp Baking Powder
1 pinch of Salt
2 oz soft Margarine
5 oz Natural Yoghurt

Method :

Sift the flour, baking powder and salt into a bowl.
Rub in the margarine.
Add the yoghurt and mix to a smooth dough with your hands.
Place on a floured board and roll out into a circle about ¾ of an inch thick.
Cut into eight triangles.
Brush the tops with egg or milk and sprinkle on some bran or wheatgerm, if desired.
Place on a greased baking sheet and bake at 220° C for about 10 minutes.
